This requires a different set of abilities, including scepticism, and a more practical approach. While science can be driven by intuition, curiosity and prior knowledge, it is important to incorporate scepticism as well as techniques such as internal and external peer review, random control trials and similar to prevent blind optimism.

The interdisciplinary program is offered jointly by Penn State Behrend School of Science and Black School of Business. It is among the few business science programs for undergraduates in the country. The degree lets you tailor your plan by selecting the right block of courses that suits your interests from either the scientific or business aspect of the equation.
